This project of disc is born from an encounter with Catherine Lara who asked the Sirba Octet to join her on a new adventure around the Yiddish soul, project created in November 2012.
Seduced by the band’s atmosphear, Catherine Lara chose to revisit eight of her greatest songs to perform with the Sirba Octet and Pascal Contet on the accordion, with arrangements by Cyrille Lehn.
