In these difficult times, the record industry needs more than ever a brotherhood of sounds. This world tour musical, Buda Music has been offering it for over twenty years. Directed by Gilles Fruchaux, Buda soon surpassed the catchy concept of “world music” so fashionable in the mid-80s. At Buda, no point of pseudo-fusion between the West and the rest of the planet. Just the desire for Gilles to capture, and especially to transmit, traditional music or urban music, from Lagos, the depths of Siberia, or Jewish music in all its diversity!
