exilio

La Roza enflorese with Quatuor Alfama

Sephardi romances, Spanish Renaissance and original compositions

This CD witnesses the exile of a people, but also the exile hearts.
Longing of a country, wandering of a desperate heart, rejection of a world made of appearances… so many forms of exile that inspired this CD.

In order to follow the marks of a diaspora favourable to cultural encounters, La Roza Enflorese associate with Quatuor Alfama to perform a Judeo-Spanish repertoire with polyphonics from the Spanish Renaissance and original compositions by Philippe Malfeyt on Pablo Neruda’s poems.
