The Institut d’Etudes du Judaïsme is the only scholar institution in the country to give a teaching exclusively dedicated to the many facets of Judaism, from the antiquity until nowadays, as well as the study of its various forms of artistic, linguistic or literary expression.

The institute has the biggest Jewish library in the country, with over 12.000 documents. This library is a fundamental research tool for all fields about Judaism covered by the activities and teachings of the institute.
