Jacinta, between Yiddish, Judeo-Spanish songs and tango

LIFE COURSES, AN EIJM FILM PRODUCTION

This two-part interview with Jacinta, conducted on May 22, 2022, traces the life of this multi-faceted artist, from her childhood in Argentina in the 1950s, to her arrival in Paris in the late 1970s, to her musical encounters and her involvement in the creation of an intergenerational choir, the Jacintas Zingers.

This life course is punctuated by songs of the artist accompanied by the guitar.

In the third video, Jacinta pays tribute to Clarisse Nicoïdski, considered by Haïm Vidal Séphiha as the last Judeo-Spanish poetess.
