Klezmer Attitude: the hora

A radio broadcast of Radio Judaica Lyon hosted by Edmond Ghrenassia

KLEZMER ATTITUDE – MONDAY 30th JULY 2007, RADIO JUDAICA LYON (RJL) (94.5). Radio program in French

This week, Edmond Ghrenassia presents a program dedicated to the hora. The hora is a classical musical motif in klezmer music. It is a slow 3 step dance, with the first and last step enhanced. The klezmer hora or slow hora, must not be mistaken with the Israeli hora which is a fast 2 step dance.
We will hear tunes played by Belf Orchestra, Natfule Brandwein, Andy Statman
