The French-Israeli singer Rika Zaraï had a great success in France in the 1960’s and 1970’s, with songs such as Casatchock, Sans chemise, sans pantalon or Balapapa.

She also adapted in French classics from the Israeli repertoire, such as Hava Naguila, Yerushalayim shel zahav and Hallelujah (Grand Prize Eurovision 1979).
