Ethnomusicologist and specialist in Jewish music, Hervé Roten is director of the European Institute of Jewish Music. For nearly thirty years, he has been exploring the diversity of Jewish musical traditions, between scholarly transmission and popular culture, bringing to life the living memory of communities around the world.
