Jacinta Collection

Born in Argentina, Jacinta began her musical career at the age of 12 by leading a Yiddish singing ensemble, the language of her childhood. When she moved to Paris in 1977, she began to integrate Judeo-Spanish songs into her repertoire. A multi-faceted artist, she performs on stage as an author, composer, performer and actress. Totally committed to her task of transmission, Jacinta has been directing a choir of 120 people since 2001: the Jacintas Zingers.

Deposited at the EIJM in May 2022 by the artist, Jacinta’s collection includes some forty photographies, from her youth in Argentina to her artistic career in Paris, as well as numerous recordings.
