Hélène Engel presents the composer, accordionist and multi-instrumentalist Koby Israelite. His music is a mix of classical, jazz, world music and avant-garde music.

We will hear two programs devoted to the presentation of two of his albums.

Hélène Engel makes us discover the CDs “Is He Listening?”, Ppblished in 2009, and “Blues from Elsewhere” published in 2013. These albums are published by the label Tsadik, John Zorn’s music label.

Based in Montreal, she hosts the radio show ” The hidden sides of Jewish Music” on Radio SHALOM Montreal.
