La source de vie : Metz, the revival

A TV program by Josy Eisenberg, directed by Pascale Kenigsberg-Cahen, with the participation of the Consistoire Central and the Lucien Lévy Foundation, featuring an excerpt of a concert filmed in the synagogue de Metz. With Bruno Fiszon (Rabbi of Metz and Moselle region), Marcel Tolub (president of the community of Metz) and the cantor Albert Kirch who performs here the prayer Omar Rabbi Elazar.

Historically the Jewish community of France has three birth places: the Comtat Venaissin, South West of France (Bordeaux, Bayonne and its region) and Alsace-Loraine. This TV show hosted by Josy Eisenberg is dedicated to the history of the Community of Metz, one of the important cities of Ashkenazi Jews.
