A la una yo naci

Esther Ackermann

Vde-Gallo, 2012

A la una yo naci is the first intimate CD by Esther Ackermann.

After a serious work of listening and introspection, This young singer wanted to restore the Judeo-Spanish songs that her mother, who came from Tangier, sang to her when she was little.

These are treasures passed on from generation to generation. For Esther Ackermann, this disc is an opportunity to touch this mother-child relationship, as well as transmission, an essential value to her.

The singer is accompanied by the remarkable guitar player Paco Chambin.
