Andalusian Music : Morocco

A radio show of Radio Tel Aviv hosted by Sabine Amsellem

ANDALUSIAN MUSIC – March 10 and 24, 2016, Radio TAF (102 FM)

Sabine Amsellem takes us now on a journey to Morocco : the charming sounds of classical “nouba”, the Hebrew piyutim, the popular melodies and festive or meditative music, show in various ways the musical heritage of Andalusian Morocco, all performed by great Jewish and Muslim artists.

Sabine Amsellem taught piano as well as music theory and culture at the Paris Conservatory. She then settled in Israel where she became producer of the radio programs “Andalusian Music” and “Music Forever” on Radio TAF in Tel Aviv.
