Conference given as part of the Nuit des idées, ” The night of theology – 4th edition – Listening to the sacred “, organized by the Villa Gillet and the Institution des Chartreux in Lyon, which took place on January 30, 2020, in partnership with the Fonds de dotation des Chartreux and RCF.

Three people will discuss this question, Jean During, ethnomusicologist, music specialist from Central Asia, Hervé Roten, musicologist specialized in Jewish music and director of the European Institute of Jewish Music and Jean-Clément Jollet, musicologist.
