Mediterranea

Alla Francesca

ZIG ZAG Territoires, 2009

Internationally renown for the quality and originality of its projects, Alla Francesca performs repertoires running from the end of the 11tyh century to the beginning of the 16th century.

In the  CD Mediterranea, Alla Francesca performs in trio – Brigitte Lesne (vocals, harps, percussions), Pierre Hamon (flutes, tambourine, hornpipe), Carlo Rizzo (tammora, tamburello, vocals) – and offers a musical overview from the Meditterranean sea. Sefardi lullabies and melodies collected in Italy mix with troubadours’ songs, lauds to the Virgin, and estampies of the trecento.

An imaginary and multicultural journey throughout time.
