Laureate of the CNSM of Paris writing classes, holder of several first prizes (clarinet, chamber music …) in the city of Paris and the national school of Aulnay-Sous-Bois, second prize of chamber music of the international competition of the UFAM, he is also an associate of Musicology and professor at the conservatory of the Xth arrondissement. Alain Gourdeau has been practicing and teaching klezmer music for more than 15 years. He is also the clarinettist of the Balabosta trio.
